Cancellation Policy

This page sets out what SheetMatters actually does, in the order it does it, rather than boilerplate borrowed from a larger company. If a line reads badly or looks like it contradicts the product, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix the page or the product.

    Leave whenever you like

VIP is a monthly membership, not a contract with a term. End it at any point, with a reason or without one. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not cut you off part way through a month, and you keep full access until the period you have already paid for runs out.

  2. 02

    Two ways to do it

    • Yourself: sign in with the email address you used at checkout and choose "Manage billing". That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel outright, change your card, update your billing details or pull past invoices.
    • Or hand it over: write to [email protected] from the address on the membership and we will cancel it for you.
  3. 03

    What stays yours

Every sheet you copied into your Google Drive while a member stays yours for good. Cancelling never deletes, locks or downgrades a file you already hold — and we could not do it in any case, because we have no access to your Drive. Sheets and collections you bought outright sit outside the membership entirely and are untouched by it.

Come back to SheetMatters after a membership has lapsed and you can still re-copy whatever you claimed while it ran. You get the newest version of that sheet you actually held while paying — it does not roll back, and it stops moving forward.

  4. 04

    What stops

When the paid period ends, the continuing half of VIP ends with it: sheets released after that date, new major versions published after it, and members’ support. Nothing you already claimed is touched.

  5. 05

    Billing until then

VIP bills monthly in US dollars at the price shown on the VIP page, and renews automatically until you cancel. We do not prorate: cancel halfway through a cycle and the membership stays fully live to the end of it, with the unused remainder not refunded. Once the cancellation takes effect there are no further charges.

  6. 06

If you want the charge back instead

Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not return the last one. If what you want is the charge itself reversed, every membership carries a 14 day refund from the date of that charge, no reason required. The Refund Policy explains how to ask and what changes when we do it.

  7. 07

    Coming back later

Rejoin whenever you like, at whatever rate the VIP page shows on the day. Both the price and what the membership covers may have moved while you were away.
